In 1982, Sacré Cœur became an incorporated body, and the Society entrusted to the Directors of Sacré Cœur the governance of the School.

Sacré Cœur's School Board directors are approved by Sophia Education Ministries. The Board is responsible for:

  • determining overall policy for Sacré Cœur within the tradition and philosophy of the goals of a Sacred Heart education
  • the appointment of the Principal
  • the financial control of the School
  • long term planning
  • formulating and monitoring an annual budget.

Several sub-committees provide advice and make recommendations to the Board on specific areas of School operations. Current sub-committees include:

Dorothy Tselios
Chair

Dorothy is a highly experienced, values-driven leader focused on organisational effectiveness and creating high performance cultures. She has extensive human resource management experience gained working in the corporate sector and as a HR leader and change facilitator in the education sector. She is currently the Director of Human Resources at Melbourne Grammar School.

Dorothy is a certified member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, Australian College of Educational Leadership and the Institute of Executive Coaching. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.

Ms Carol Daicic
Director

Following her appointment as a member in 2017, Carol Daicic is an Acting Deputy President of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal), Deputy Head of the Planning and Environment List (PEL) and member of the Planning and Environment Division (PED) Leadership Team. In this role, Carol resolves disputes primarily in PED both as a decision maker and an accredited mediator. Carol has also led a number of reform projects in PED including the delivery of the digital transformation of PED and implementation of the new case management system during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as a number of other key reforms.

Carol is the mother of Isabella (class of 2023), Amelia (class of 2024) and Sophia (class of 2026).

Mr John Finn
Director

John is an experienced educational leader who has a passion for working with people who wish to have a close alignment between the mission of their school or organisation and matching that mission to the lived culture.

He has taught across Prep to Year 12, lectured at University level and has led the establishment of an Early Years Program.

John was the first lay Principal of both Whitefriars College and St Bede’s College, Acting Principal at St James College and Deputy Principal at three other schools. John also worked at Catholic Education Melbourne (now Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools) as the inaugural appointment into the secondary Principal consultant role before it was eventually regionalised. This enabled him to consult to more than 50 secondary schools over that time.
John is an evaluator for the Council of International Schools, a role that has taken him to numerous schools, both not for profit and private, locally, interstate and overseas. His speciality in that evaluation process is in Governance and Mission. He has completed the Director’s course from the Australian Institute of Company Director’s (AICD) and acts as an advisor to various Charisms and Boards.
John has recently worked with the Society of Jesus Australia as the Executive Officer for Social Ministries and is currently the Leadership Ambassador for Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS).

Mr Daniel Kelliher
Director

Daniel Kelliher is a practising Wills, Estates and Trusts lawyer and in July 2018 took up an appointment with Eastern Bridge Lawyers, Balwyn.

Daniel has previously headed Russell Kennedy’s Estates and Estate Planning team for nearly 13 years (2005 – 2018), after 11 years of previous private practice roles and 4 ½ years as an Estate Planning Manager at NAB.
Daniel’s practice encompasses all aspects of Estate Planning and Trusts advice; Probate and Estate Administration; Estate, Trusts and occasional Superannuation Litigation. Daniel is Chair of the Victorian Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is a member and former Chair (2016-2018) of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) Specialist Advisory Committee for Wills and Estates.
Daniel joined the Sacré Cœur Foundation Board in November 2017.

Daniel is the father of Lizzie (Class of 2021), Edwina (Class of 2023) and Annabel (Class of 2024).

Mr Chris Gray
Director

Chris is the director of several technology and family businesses.

His past roles have included being part of the management buy out of Dun & Bradstreet’s Australian and New Zealand operations. Chris was also the co-founder of iCareHealth, which subsequently sold to Telstra.

Chris is a director of 5 Point Foundation, which focuses on families and children. He is also a member of the St Roch’s Finance Committee and a volunteer at St Vincent de Paul.

Chris is the father of three current Sacré Cœur students and was appointed to the Foundation Board in 2018

Mr Peter Rahilly
Director

Peter is a co-founder and Director of 2Construct Pty Ltd, a commercial and civil construction company that operates in Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
2Construct specialise in education and community based commercial construction works and have been operating since 2004. 2Construct currently employ over 70 people directly and many more on a sub-contract basis.

Peter was previously a Director at JA Dodd Pty Ltd and a Board Member of the Civil Contractors Federation for 7 years.

He graduated from RMIT in 1988 after completing his HSC at Xavier College in 1984.

He is father to Meg (Class of 2012), Jennifer (Class of 2015) and Emma (Class of 2019).

Mrs Marisa Reid
Director

Marisa is a director of a property management, investment and development company.

Upon finishing her entire school career at Sacré Cœur, Marisa completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at the Victorian College of Pharmacy and worked for twenty years in hospital and community pharmacy both in Melbourne and the United Kingdom. She was involved in mentoring programs, The Pharmaceutical Society and the Association of Professional Engineers and Scientists.

Marisa has been involved with the Sacré Cœur Alumnae Association for many years, serving as President from 2012 to 2018.

She is the mother of Allegra (a student since 2016) and Dante.

Marisa was appointed to the Sacré Cœur School Board 2018 and is currently Chair of the Community Council.

Ms Mirella Robinson
Director

Mirella Robinson is Chief Information Technology Officer at Cbus Super Fund and has extensive senior corporate experience in media and advertising, telecommunications, financial services, utilities, gaming and banking.

Mirella brings expertise in stakeholder management across all levels of business, building effective and constructive long-term relationships to deliver repeatable successful outcomes. She has a particular interest in technology. As well as hands on experience, applying agile values, principles, and practices to deliver outcomes and bring the most out of people and teams. With strong learning agility she has driven change across small, medium, and large organisations.
Mirella’s daughter, Sienna, is a member of the Class of 2023; she also has a son at De La Salle.
