an environment of love and learning

At Sacré Cœur we aspire to the highest professional standards amongst our teaching and non-teaching staff. This is reflected in the quality of the relationship between staff and students, the learning environment created and the concern for each individual.

Teachers are powerful role models and uniquely placed to influence young people, to encourage, affirm and even inspire them to fulfil their potential. At Sacré Cœur, teachers embrace the goals of a Sacred Heart education. They must take a leadership role in building up the community of the School, beginning with their own classrooms where the highest standards are expected of all and everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

Sacré Cœur offers salary conditions commensurate with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2018 and all teachers have the use of a laptop during their tenure. The School offers a three week mid-year break for teaching staff and a mid-term break for all staff in Term 4. It is a positive and happy working environment, close to the city and south-eastern suburbs.  On-site parking is available.

This school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.
