School Scholarships and Bursaries

Sacré Cœur is committed to the development of each student’s individual abilities to the highest degree possible. Our scholarships enable the pursuit of excellence and foster access to a Sacred Heart education. They are an integral part of our commitment to rewarding excellence and enabling students, from all backgrounds, to achieve their educational goals.

We are also proud to offer a limited number of bursaries annually to students whose families may not otherwise be able to afford a Sacré Cœur education. Our bursaries and scholarships are funded in part by the School, in conjunction with the Sacré Cœur Foundation, and supported by the generous donations of our community.

NEW Science, Maths and Creative Arts Scholarships

At Sacré Cœur we are committed to fostering young women who have a range of talents. We are delighted to offer scholarships in Science, Maths and Creative Arts.

These scholarships are offered in celebration of the opening of the St Madeleine Sophie Barat Centre – our new Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM) learning centre.

The Scholarships will be awarded to students who show passion and excellence in Science, Maths and Creative Arts and are open to new students who will be commencing in Years 7, 8 or 9 in 2022, or Years 8 or 9 in 2023. (Please note additional scholarships will be available to existing students entering Years 8 or Year 9 in 2023; information will be available from November 2021).

Scholarships provide a partial remission of tuition fees until the end of Year 12, subject to the student’s continuing superior performance and ongoing contribution to the life of the School.

NEW Access Scholarships – Year 9, 2023

We are also proud to announce Access Scholarships for students gifted in Science Maths or Creative Arts. These scholarships will enable students, whose family’s financial situation may prevent them from attending, the opportunity to receive a Sacré Cœur education.

Two Access Scholarships are available for new students commencing in Year 9, 2023. These scholarships have been made possible through the financial support of our community during the 2021 Annual Appeal – “Building Brilliant Minds”. We thank the Sacré Cœur Foundation and all our supporters for facilitating this generous gift.

As well as providing a 50% remission on tuition fees for Years 9 – 12, the Access Scholarships also provide a laptop and $1,000 towards co-curricular and learning opportunities.
